Companies use on-site trailers to house workers engaged in fracking the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale deposit, and they’ve rented blocks of hotel rooms. But as oilfield and service workers reach a critical mass, particularly in southwest Mississippi, communities want to build “crew lodges” for them.
